Our Theme for November is Better Sleep

In our theme this month, we will put our focus on sleep. Lack of sleep can be frustrating, challenging and cause issues for our mind and body. Together, we’ll discover strategies to help us change behaviors that might be causing our ongoing poor sleep and insomnia. You can look forward to restful practices to assist you. Some of these will include mindfulness, guided meditations, sound healing, yoga, and essential oils.

Some classes will be held online, some in Madison and some additional materials will be shared specifically in the Peaceful Wellness Sangha Facebook Group. Be sure to join the Facebook Group as last month I was sharing special meditations only to the group. If you don’t like to use Facebook, you can join the Peaceful Wellness Sangha Email Group.

Our Applied Mindfulness class series online on Mondays at 8:30 am Central will help with practices and exercises in dealing with the anxiousness and consequences of poor sleep. Class is recorded for those who cannot attend live. See the Peaceful Wellness Institute for the recorded course series.

  • You will learn to develop mindful awareness of your sleep and laying a foundation for mindfulness as a lifelong support for dealing with insomnia, as well as for relating to yourself throughout your life.
  • Accepting and allowing your sleep to be exactly what it is with compassion.
  • Letting go by observing our inner experience.
  • Developing confidence if your ability to sleep.

Additionally, private sessions both in person and virtually are available.

No classes will be held Tuesday, November 22nd through Friday, November 25th
for the Thanksgiving Holiday.

Online Studio

All classes are recorded from the online studio and placed in the Meditation On-Demand Library or Applied Mindfulness classes are as an online course at Peaceful Wellness Institute.

    Mindful Book Group continues every other Friday at 12:00 pm CT featuring Real Change by Sharon Salzberg (not recorded)

Madison Studio

Classes are not typically not recorded at studio. Occasionally, I may record a sound bath.

Deb Phelps

Deb Phelps is a certified Mindfulness and Meditation Teacher, and Practitioner since 1980.
