Episode 2 – Deb Phelps – ‘Beginners Mind’
I became acquainted with Deb through my 300 Hr training I did through My Vinyasa Practice earlier this year, as she was assigned as my Peer Support Representative. I remember a couple emails that we exchanged and it was like she was inside my mind! She understood where I was at due to the pandemic and with my practice, I finally felt heard. She recommended me for a position at MVP joining the team of peer support, and the rest is history.
Deb is the founder of Peaceful Wellness – located in Madison WI. Currently from her home space she facilitates meditations, sound baths, online courses, yoga therapy sessions, aromatherapy sessions, spiritual teachings and wellness coaching.
On today’s episode we are going to specifically dive into the ‘Beginners Mind’, exploring Deb’s enriching experiences in her meditation practice and how one might actually begin their own practices.
Deb currently has a 21 day meditation challenge going during the month of September (never too late to start) and you can watch the videos at anytime as many times as you like. She is also offering an ongoing course for Mindfulness Meditation using techniques she is currently using in her classes with additional study materials.
