We have new classes and events we are offering this month so be sure to take a peek at what is in store for you. We’ve also given our website and office an update as we bring our focus of Meditate Madison to one of “Your Path to Peace & Purpose.” Which path would you walk today? We’re ready to walk with you.

We kick the month off with our FREE Community Day on Saturday, September 7th!

Meditation, Crystal Singing Bowls and Energy Healing with Deb and Dineen– all FREE!

In reference to our theme, try asking yourself the questions below.

  • Do I find myself becoming “stuck” in unhelpful ways of thinking and behaving?
  • Do I need to let go of relationships that have shown themselves to be unhealthy?
  • Do I feel disconnected in my body or ungrounded in general?

If you answer yes to any of the questions, you may benefit from working with grounding and balancing practices related to your Root Chakra.

What are the Chakras? In yoga, meditation & Ayurveda, this term refers to wheels or energy throughout the body. There are seven main chakras, which align the spine, starting from the base of the spine to the crown of the head. To visualize a chakra in the body, imagine a swirling wheel of energy where matter and consciousness meet. This invisible healing energy is vital life force, which keeps us vibrant, healthy, and alive.

The Root Chakra is located at the base of the spine. It governs the primal urges, food, sleep, sex, and self-preservation. Its energetic function is to help us maintain a sense of groundedness and inner stability.

We are here to help you find that stability. Here at Meditate Madison, that is our specialization. Be it through meditation, yoga, relaxation techniques, energy healing or coaching, we will help you transform your mind, body and spirit and be connected to the earth while knowing your inner strength.

You find this particularly with our two Saturday events, MeTime: Self-Care Saturday and our Self-Discovery Workshop. The Root Chakra will be our main focus.

Attend one of the varied classes and/or programs this month as we explore this focus of creating loving and peaceful thoughts for ourselves.

Personal sessions are the way you can have meditation, yoga, energy healing, or coaching on your own schedule. We still have open appointments, so be sure to schedule your initial appointment today by calling 608-216-2805, Extension 10 for Deb and Extension 11 for Dineen.

Be sure to check the online calendar in case of schedule changes. Please note that there is a 2-hour registration requirement for classes. Workshops and other events may vary. Attend the sessions of interest to you. If you miss one, it will most likely be repeated in the future. The sessions are open to anyone who is interested.

Deb Phelps

Deb Phelps is a certified Mindfulness and Meditation Teacher, and Practitioner since 1980. She is also a Mindfulness Coach, Sound Energy Practitioner, and Yoga Specialist who uniquely assists her clients to overcome stress, anxiety, PTSD, grief, and other life situations so that they can once again live purposeful, joy-filled lives. Deb has overcome significant life challenges aided by a variety of mind-body-spirit practices. By diligently using these tools over many decades, she found a life of contentment and equanimity.
